The first day was always going to be long and boring, so I won't make this a stupidly long post about how airline food sucks (to their credit, eventhough the food was alright.. they did feed us well and give us regular drinks!) The day started quite early, being picked up at 8am, rapidly made it through check-in and hunted for somewhere to get breakfast before we started to head to the gate.
The flight itself was in the 11hours 40minute time zone, which was excrutiatingly painful, you know how it is, cramps, no leg room, the chairs where too uncomfortable to really sleep in for a long enough period but there was reasonably amusing time killing tellyvision. Mainly in the form of The Inbetweeners, Lost in Translation.
We landed in Japan around 11pm PM GMT / 8.30 AM Sunday JST
